ODR provides the resources for parents and educational agencies to resolve disputes concerning the identification, evaluation, educational placement, or the provision of a free appropriate public education for students with disabilities, students who are gifted and children with disabilities served by the early intervention system.

ODR's hearing officers participated in training on Response to Intervention, given by Dr. James Gaggini, Dr. Joseph Kovaleski, Dr. Jennifer Lillenstein, and Lynda Lupp.  In addition, the hearing officers participated in training on special education for gifted students, given by Jay Clark, Esquire (Parent/Attorney); Linda Deal (Teacher of Gifted), and Dr. Michael Leichliter, Superintendent.  ODR thanks Stakeholder Council member Linda Deal for assembling the panel of gifted speakers.
ODR now offers Facilitators for Resolution Meetings when due process has been requested.








ODR Director named to the Advisory Panel of the National Center on Dispute Resolution in Special Education.
