Hearing Officer Decisions

Beginning with the 2006-2007 fiscal year, the Office for Dispute Resolution is now making Hearing Officer decisions available to the public on its website.  Before these decisions are posted, all identifiable student information is removed to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.

Currently, an "Index by Case Number" and an "Index by Issue" are available for downloading and printing to assist in locating the desired decision. To view, download and/or print a specific decision, please click on the case number listed under the appropriate fiscal year.  Please note that all case numbers include a four-digit number followed by the school year date (e.g., 1234-07-08).

In the near future, you will be able to search easily for decisions in a number of ways:  case number, IU, School District, Hearing Officer, and/or Issue.

All Hearing Officer decisions rendered will be posted as quickly as possible after the process of removing the student information is completed and verified.  As time permits, ODR anticipates posting Hearing Officer decisions from previous years.  Until that time, Hearing Officer decisions from previous years can be made available on an individual basis by contacting ODR.  Please email your request to ODR@pattan.net.  You may also fax your request to the Office for Dispute Resolution:  717-657-5983.
