School Age

Requests for mediation or due process for a school aged child can be directed to the educational agency providing services to the child, or the request may be sent to the Office for Dispute Resolution. The Mediation Request or the Due Process Complaint Notice (formerly combined on the ODR Request Form) should be used when requesting mediation or due process for a school aged child. The Special Education Dispute Resolution Manual describes the procedures to be followed for school age mediation and due process.
